Your Santa's Blizzard Blues came out lovely. Hi! I'm SandyFromNJ, a new blogger and quilter. I have lots of different blocks made and a ton of fabric. I'm still learning more about the actual 'Quilting' part of quilting. Nice job on your quilt! :) SandyFromNJ
Question about your blue Santa DNP- what size are the original blocks and how many different fabrics did you use? I LOVED IT!! I thought it was stunning. Those colors are right up alley. So please inquiring minds want to know. Thanks- Sue in SoCal sschutz@san.rr.com.
Thanks so much for your comment! I'm still overwhelmed by how much response I've gotten from this quilt... especially since it happened totally by accident! Another reader had asked for the instructions on how I made it, so here's the link: http://texasmomkj.blogspot.com/2008/07/ok-so-now-im-blushing.html
In answer to your main question, I used 3 or 4 Moda charm packs ("Snow Village" line), so the cut squares would be 5"--ends up giving you really weird block sizes after that, but that's where it all started.
Please let me know when you do yours! I'd love to see it.
